Outreach

  • Local & Global Mission

Our congregation is dedicated to serving others and sharing God’s love through meaningful outreach efforts — partnering with community organizations and leading hands-on initiatives that bring hope, nourishment, and compassion to those in need both locally and globally

    Facilitator: Jeff Kieft

  • SUMC Sewers

Our talented sewers craft and prepare dresses filled with love and hope, which are then sent to bring joy and encouragement to girls and women in Africa through the “Sending Dresses with Hopes to Africa” organization, along with many other mission projects

    Facilitator: Marilyn Broneill

  • SUMC Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry provides canned and dry food to community residents, offering essential nourishment and support while fostering hope, care, and a sense of community for families and individuals in need

    Facilitator: Earl Bidwell

  • SUMC Knitters

Our Knitters offer their time and talent to creating and sending hats, scarves, and cowls to seamen, along with prayer shawls and other mission projects, bringing warmth, comfort, and a tangible reminder of care, support, and encouragement to people far from home and in need of hope

    Facilitator: Alberta Hoagland
