Labels for Mission

The United Methodist Women are collecting Campbell soup labels for the Cooper Community Center located in Roxbury, MA, a UMC National Mission site.

Please follow the directions below for cutting the labels:

Campbell Soup labels must be cut to include the UPC bar code and the education symbol (the small picture of the child holding a pencil.)  These must be cut together.  They cannot be pasted or stapled.  You do not need to cut out the front of the label.

We are also collecting "box tops for education" for Redbird Mission, a UMC National Mission located in Kentucky.  These labels come from General Mills cereal boxes and Peppreidge Farm cracker and cookie packages.  In 2006 Redbird received $21,000 worth of labels.

These labels being sent to Cooper and Redbird are being used for computers, physical education equipment, and vans.

Please help support these two National Mission programs by bringing in your cut out labels and leaving them in the container marked for the labels which is in the reception hall.
