What does church mean to you?
Does this sound familiar? Getting up early on Sunday morning, getting dressed up and sitting still and quiet during the service. Chamber music, songs from a hymnal and pipe organ. If this is your idea of church, South does great traditional worship services.
If you are looking for something different, check out “PULSE”, our contemporary worship service.
- The service is weekly on Sunday at 11:30 AM (no need to wake up early).
- The dress and setting are casual (no need to dress up).
- The service is interactive. The message is applicable to today’s world. You may sit and listen if you like or you can speak up and ask questions or add comments (no need to be quiet).
- Spark, our praise band, leads singing and features music that may be currently playing on popular Christian radio.
- We don’t use hymnals. The song words are projected on a large screen or printed on song sheets.
- In the spring and summer, we have the service outside in the Son Rise Garden (weather permitting). This allows an opportunity to enjoy God’s creation and let the kids roam around (no need to sit still). Feel free to bring your lawn chair and sun screen (oh yeah, and your kids).
God wants to get to know you better and so do we.
